About the exhibition
Four young artists at the beginning of their career, each creating in her private space, in her own artistic language, leave their own studio and show their work together. Slowly and carefully they share the idea of an experimental joint space, in a new and changing environment, built in a process of trial and error, on the way to the outside world; The studio group photograph, carefully staged, defines the common and emphasizes the distinction as well. The process of getting out from the studio to the gallery, characterized by the exit from the everyday existence to a remote place in the Galilee, with a legendary name, (Kfar Vradim, the village of roses), needs a passage an Entrance; A relaxed crossing place, that includes outside and inside on the way to self definition. Painting, sculpture, video art, carefully chosen and brought together through dialog, in a new context, four artists curate their own exhibition. |
